These three might be in the same universe, and it is getting exciting.

Disney 's animated adventures have not only captured the hearts of children but have also made a significant impact on the global film industry.

With their imaginative storytelling and iconic characters, Disney movies have influenced filmmakers around the world.

Many studios have tried to replicate Disney's success by creating their own animated features, but few have been able to achieve the same level of worldwide recognition and acclaim.

It's no wonder that fans have come up with so many theories during all these years of Disney entertaining its audiences.

Arguably the wildest theory so far suggests that Frozen is in the same universe with The Little Mermaid and Tangled.

Let's take a close look.

First, fans who paid enough attention spotted Rapunzel and Flynn appearing as guests during Elsa's coronation as queen of Arendelle.

The events in Frozen seem to occur chronologically after the conclusion of Tangled. This can be deduced from Rapunzel's altered appearance, characterized by her shorter, brown hair, as well as her dress.

The theory goes further with connecting Elsa and Anna's death to Tangled.

In the opening of Frozen, Elsa and Anna's parents depart on a sea voyage and the destination was not disclosed. This happens about three years before the main events of the movie.

What's interesting is that Tangled came out three years earlier, with Rapunzel and Flynn getting married at the end of the story.

So, Elsa and Anna's parents might have met their end while they were traveling to Rapunzel and Flynn's wedding.

Now, how is this connected to Ariel? In The Little Mermaid movie, Ariel explores the depths of a sunken ship.

The theory implies that she inadvertently stumbled upon the remnants of a shipwreck that belonged to the deceased parents of Elsa and Anna.

What a thrilling theory, isn't it? It is particularly relevant in anticipation of the upcoming The Little Mermaid movie starring Halle Bailey.

Who knows, maybe The Little Mermaid is going to give fans all the answers they have been struggling to get for so many years.

It won't be long to find out as the movie is scheduled to be released theatrically in the US on May 26, 2023.

Disney may start the whole new cinematic universe with this movie. If so, giving some hints on the events that happened to other characters, would be the best way to connect Ariel with other potential movies, building a unified universe.
