House of the Dragon finale trailer teased a pivotal tragic scene ending with another major death.

Warning: spoilers for the upcoming House of the Dragon finale, The Black Queen.

The Targaryen civil war, The Dance of the Dragons, is afoot and has already claimed its first victim, Lord Lyman Beesbury. But there are a lot more to come. The teaser trailer for episode 10, gave hints that the next victim of the war will be much more prominent and moaned by the show fans. The tragic scene will probably end season 1 and will become the reason why peaceful reconciliation of the war becomes impossible.

Actually, we've been teased in episode 9 already. Remember when Tyland Lannister mentioned Storm's End to the Green Council and said it was "of concern"? Well, Storm's End is exactly where the tragic death will take place.

In an attempt to rally supporters among powerful families of Westeros both Greens and Blacks will do their best. Price Aemond will be sent to Storm's End to betroth himself to one of Lord Borros Baratheon's daughters. At the same time, Rhaenyra will send her eldest sons on dragons to send messages to her potential allies. The younger Lucerys will travel on his dragon Arrax to Storm's End.

Rhaenys Targaryen Could've Stopped the War With Just One Word in Episode 9

You've probably already gathered the full horror of the situation. Angry and trigger-happy, Aemond meets with Lucerys who is alone and without the support of his family. This can't end well, right? You are right there. And the actions of Borros Baratheon will not help at all.

After arriving at Storm's End, Lucerys will indeed find Price Aemond and his dragon Vhagar already there and his great uncle sold on the promises Aemond has brought. "Go home, pup, and tell the bitch your mother that the Lord of Storm's End is not a dog that she can whistle up at need to set against her foes," Borros Baratheon says in the book, Fire and Blood, and tells Lucerys to leave at once. Lucerys, who has sworn to his mother not to engage in any fight, obeys. Encouraged by Baratheon, Aemond follows Lucerys in an act most fans agree to be not political but rather a personal matter. Lucerys did take out Aemond's eye, remember?

Mounted on his dragon that is five times bigger than Arrax, Aemond catches up with Lucerys and kills both him and his dragon.

As you can imagine, this murderous act of Aemond will mark the point of no return for the Dance of the Dragons. Rhaenyra will not be able to forgive her son's death and will swear it will be avenged. The Dance of the Dragons will break out for us to watch in the new season of House of the Dragons.
