What Movies Are Coming to CinemaCon 2022? List of Studio Presentations to Wait For
New information about so many highly anticipated films is going to be unveiled at CinemaCon 2022 this week! Avatar 2, Black Panther 2, Jurassic World Dominion, The Flash and Black Adam – you name it, CinemaCon got it.
It's going to be a hot one this week as Las Vegas hosts the biggest film industry executives at CinemaCon 2022 from Monday, April 25 to Thursday, April 28. With all five major Hollywood studios participating this year, we can expect lots of big announcements and details about highly anticipated projects from so-called Big Five (Sony, Warner Bros., Universal, Disney, Paramount) and also Lionsgate and NEON.
Why is CinemaCon so important? Like San Diego Comic Con, for example, CinemaCon is one of the biggest events in the film industry, only, unlike SDCC, uniting both creators and fans, CinemaCon is a place where film industry leaders and theater executives gather together – so it can be considered as a purely professional event. What's important for us, the audience, is a sheer amount of major studios participating this year – and tons of new footage they are expected to share. This means that we, the fans, will get a lot of new details, spoilers and information about what awaits us in the summer blockbusters season.
Here's the list of all the major exhibitors, most anticipated film screenings and studio presentations taking place at CinemaCon 2022 during the upcoming week.
Sony Pictures at CinemaCon 2022
Monday (April 25), 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Last year Sony Pictures certainly dropped the mic by showing the debut Spider-Man: No Coming Home trailer at CinemaCon 2021. This year Sony's lineup is somewhat less impressive, seeing as how there's no Tom Holland movie to wow the audience with. But hey, at least we got (as rumors have it) Brad Pitt and Bullet Train, and also – possibly – first Kraven the Hunter footage with Aaron Taylor-Johnson currently filming in England.

Warner Bros. at CinemaCon 2022
Tuesday (April 26), 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
All eyes will be on DCEU titles for sure: both Black Adam and The Flash are getting new teaser trailers, and then there's also a possibility of getting some new info about Aquaman and Shazam! sequels. The biggest of then all though? Possible The Batman 2 announcement, now that Robert Pattinson-led movie arrived on HBO Max.

Before official studio presentation, Universal and Focus Features will treat CinemaCon guests to an exclusive screening of Scott Derrickson-directed, Ethan Hawke-led supernatural horror The Black Phone on Tuesday, April 26, 8:30 PM.

Lots of Marvel upcoming projects plus the main event: Avatar 2 presentation (as confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, expect a teaser trailer and maybe some additional footage).

Paramount at CinemaCon 2022
Thursday (April 28), 9:15 AM - 12:15 PM
While Top Gun: Maverick will premiere during Cannes Film Festival on May 18, Paramount will treat CinemaCon 2022 viewers to the early screening of the movie that's shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the year. Still no word on whether Tom Cruise is set to attend, but director Joseph Kosinski and actor Glen Powell will be there, discussing Top Gun legacy at the special event after the screening.
