Ted Lasso fans finally got what they were waiting for more than a year and a half! The first episode of season 3 is now available – and ready to make you cry.

Warning: spoilers for Ted Lasso season 3 episode 1 ahead

The most committed fans already watched it and now are obsessing about every new detail they got. But the Internet really lost it after one particular scene, which may have given the audience their new favorite character – Phoebe.

This little girl is Roy's niece, but it feels like he is almost his daughter. Two first seasons haven't told us much about how this tight relationship of theirs was formed and more importantly why.

"I really just need #TedLasso s3 to explain why [Phoebe] is basically being raised by Roy because all the info we have is not enough to make it make sense for the character to be his niece not daughter thanksssss," Twitter user allytweets15 said.

In the new episode Roy and Keeley finally made up their minds and decided it's time to tell Phoebe, who already grew fond of them as a couple, that they are not going to be together.

But something felt off when their choice of words were different. Roy said that they broke up, and Keeley was sure they were on a break.

Phoebe took the news like a real grown-up, and it actually melted everyone's hearts. She asked about the reason for their break-up, but after all she wasn't convinced enough that that's enough to actually end things.

This scene finishes with a very tragic line of Phoebe. She confessed that ever since her parents split up when she was four years old, she has "a core belief that nothing lasts forever."

No matter how tough you are (yes, Roy Kent, we're looking at you), you can't deny that it was heartbreaking to watch.

Fans think that this little clever lady is going to actually "parent trap" those two. And here's one more reason to believe that.

After the tragic scene, Phoebe and Roy are in his car, and she suggests that her uncle was "being stupid." Okay, little shipper, take it easy…

But it seems that these words touched Roy's heart. So who knows, maybe the Keeley-Roy romance storyline is not actually finished yet.
