The Blue Bloods star wants everyone to tell their friends he won’t give up, so here we are, spreading Selleck’s good word.

For all the Blue Bloods fans who haven’t been content with the lack of serious stakes and tension in the show lately, its behind-the-scenes drama should provide more than enough of both.

As CBS is adamant about ending Blue Bloods with Season 14, lead star Tom Selleck is equally hellbent on keeping it going — and so far, it doesn’t look like either party will be willing to back down.

Tom Selleck Won’t Give Up: ‘Tell Your Friends’

While not the only cast member who’s been vocal about the cancellation lately, Tom Selleck has definitely been the most active protester of the network’s decision. The lead star has been going live about it on every opportunity, criticizing CBS for canceling Blue Bloods and claiming that he won’t rest until renewed once again.

Months go by, and Tom Selleck is still on the grind to save his iconic series. Recently, the actor doubled down on his one-man war once again when talking to Esquire.

“What’s the future of Blue Bloods? CBS will tell you it’s ending. I think they’re going to come to their senses. I certainly wish they would. I’m going to do whatever it takes. Tell your friends,” Selleck said for the record.

CBS Execs Hate Tom Selleck At This Point

While many fans applaud Selleck for trying to save their favorite TV show, the star actor’s reasons for doing so might not be as noble as many like to imagine.

It’s been long reported that Selleck just can’t afford losing Blue Bloods: it’s his one $4M/year source of income that pays for his massive and unbelievably expensive family ranch.

“Tom is an entitled brat. Hundreds of people [from behind-the-scenes staff] are facing unemployment when the show wraps. Most of them will struggle to make ends meet — while Tom complains about the upkeep of his lavish 63-acre ranch,” an insider recently confirmed, pointing out that Selleck’s position infuriates CBS executives.

Either way, it doesn’t look like Tom Selleck is going to end his one-man war for the future of Blue Bloods (and, admittedly, his own bank account). The network is not backing down, either, choosing to completely ignore the actor’s campaign, though. So for those of you who craved more Blue Bloods drama, here you go!
