There’s Only One Show That Has All Kinds of Creepy Characters: Meet Them All
And there’s a chance you’ve met those kinds of people in your life…
There’s nothing better than a show full of bizarre storylines and characters that give you creeps. This is probably what the creators of Desperate Housewives thought and then introduced the show to masses.
The mysterious show that captured the hearts of millions of fans has all sorts of craziness, coming both in storylines and characters. Desperate Housewives is by far the only show that has so many of them, it’s scary to imagine a street full of so many creepy characters at once.
Here’s the list of them all.
1. Felicia Tilman
One of the most complicated characters in the entire series is Martha Huber’s sister, Felicia Tilman. She arrived on Wisteria Lane right after Paul killed Martha. She had no proof he did that, but she was determined to let people know what a monster Paul was.
For that matter, she was willing to go on any lengths, sometimes borderline crazy. One particular storyline that actually keeps us awake at night is the one where she cut off two of her fingers and put them into Paul's belongings to frame him. And of course you would lose count trying to remember how many times she disappeared and came back to the picture.
2. Katherine Mayfair
Katherine is one of the wildest characters on the show: her story is full of so many secrets and problematic storylines it’s actually confusing. We first meet her as a strong woman moving back to the street where she used to be happy, and then the writers put her into many difficult scenarios, probably to see what she’s made of.
The worst thing that happened to her was when she went completely cuckoo after Mike broke up with her and he went back to Susan and married her. She had a nervous breakdown and stabbed herself while trying to frame Mike. Katherine left the show in season 6 as a total wreck, but she will forever remain the sweetheart of Wisteria Lane. Oh, and we almost forgot to mention her lesbian storyline, but that's a story for another time.
3. Dave Williams
Dave's character was introduced in season 5 as Edie Britt's husband. They moved back to Wisteria Lane together, but from the first moment we saw him, we knew the man was a wreck and we waited for the tantrum. And we got what we wanted...
David was the one who started the fire in the club to make a hero of himself after saving Mike’s life. During the same episode we find out that the man has mental health problems, after his psychiatrist confronts him. Later we discover that he had some sort of schizophrenia and was acting like that to take revenge for Mike accidentally killing his family in a car crash.
4. George Williams
Literally one of the most dangerous people on the entire show is the pharmacist George Williams. After all the people in the street discover Rex, Bree’s husband, has sort of a pay-per-hour affair with Maisy Gibbons, George decides to take a step and start a relationship with Bree, which he successfully accomplishes for a while.
But later he starts lusting after her, which makes Rex angry. Unwilling to accept the humiliation he was put through, the mentally troubled George started changing Rex’s heart medication, which eventually killed him and made Bree a prime suspect in his murder.
5. Art Shepard
The storyline with Art was the most confusing of the middle seasons. While he was introduced as a hero, after saving Lynette’s life in the hostage situation, it turned out he was something so much worse. When Lynette entered his house, she discovered there’s a wall in the basement full of pictures of little boys in swimsuits, and the whole room was filled with toys and games.
Of course, Lynette started thinking that he was a pedophile and got the whole neighborhood thinking that. And you even start to feel sorry for the guy, thinking that maybe these boys were just his students, because he was a swimming coach. But the speech he gave to Lynette after his sister's death was so terrifying that you learn for sure that he was evil…
6. Eddie Orlofsky
There's no way we could have left poor Eddie off the list, although it's a little odd to call the town's strangler a poor boy. Eddie is a local guy known for particularly nothing. He seemed like a nice kid until we learned that he was actually killing beautiful young girls for not giving him a chance.
Julie stayed alive, but several other girls didn’t stand a chance. When his drunk mother discovered he was the one to kill those girls she tried to call the police, but he then strangled her to death as well.
