Every Jimmy persona went through one specific event, and it seems to have deep symbolism.

It's been almost a year since the finale of Better Call Saul was released but fans still manage to somehow find something new.

This time, one fan discovered an interesting detail that every iteration of Jimmy McGill shares.

The theory shared by the fan suggests that Jimmy McGill, Saul Goodman, and Gene Takovic all experience being in a dumpster at some point in the show, and this may symbolize the peak of each iteration's life in their respective versions.

Firstly, Jimmy himself goes dumpster diving to retrieve shredded Sandpiper documents. Jimmy's intentions are pure as he seeks to help the Sandpiper residents.

This act also serves as a catalyst for his legal career, showcasing his potential to make a positive impact and use his Slippin' Jimmy persona to do something good.

Although Jimmy does not maintain this trajectory, the dumpster scene offers a glimpse into what the character could have been.

Saul Goodman is next in line. Saul Goodman himself was never in a dumpster, however in season 6 we see a cardboard cutout being thrown in the dumpster.

And the theory implies that this also holds significant meaning.

As Jimmy is now a fugitive, he can no longer embody the character of Saul Goodman and the disposal of the cardboard cutout thus signifies the ultimate demise of Saul Goodman.

And finally, Gene Takovic. The scene that stands out the most is when he is caught hiding in a dumpster. Gene was on the run and resorted to hiding in a dumpster, which stripped him of his dignity.

He had already lost his fortune, and moments later, he was caught by the police. This was Jimmy's lowest point, as he was alone and helpless.

He had nothing left, and being caught in a dumpster with no possessions was a humiliating experience for him.

This astonishing detail makes a lot of sense, and it is actually plausible that this is not a coincidence and was done intentionally by the creators.

If so, they deserve all the credit for building up such a great metaphor for all three Jimmy's lives.
