One of the suggestions is actually a fitting idea for a mystery detective film.

Rian Johnson’s Knives Out 3 details are still under a wrap, but the whole mystery unveils itself step by step, and fans are surely having fun while waiting for the movie to hit Netflix.

It’s been no secret for a while that Daniel Craig will be back to his role of iconic quirky detective Benoit Blanc and Rian Johnson will be writing and directing, just like he did with two previous flicks of the Knives Out franchise.

Now that the future movie finally got its first teaser that actually says a lot about what we may expect to see, it still keeps a secret about the film’s cast. Luckily, internet users have their own suggestions.

The recently released teaser finally unveiled that the franchise’s third installment will officially be titled Wake Up Dead Man, hinting that things in there may get much more serious (and sinister) as now Blanc will possibly deal with some supernatural twists.

The short video gave zero updates about the cast though, but some fans of the franchise were quick to share who they would love to see in the upcoming movie.

One of the users’ suggestions seems to be pretty random, yet compelling, given that their perfect ensemble features Willem Dafoe, Regina Hall, Jack Black and The Muppets (the last two would definitely have some fun together, but, sadly, they’re still a very unlikely duo).

Another tweet was surely posted by someone who’s still not over the news concerning The Nice Guys’ sequel as their perfect cast includes Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe, Angourie Rice and Margaret Qualley.

Finally, someone brought up a real mystery-solving team as they posted a picture of the Scooby-Doo movies’ cast that features Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini and Matthew Lillard.

Though for now it’s definitely decided who will make an appearance in Wake Up Dead Man, Rian Johnson may have some reasons to take those tweets into consideration.

After all, the Knives Out franchise is set to have only three movies, but its success may guarantee some more installments with new characters.
