Although it’s been a while, they are always missed.

Nothing makes a show more compelling than a perfect villain. Better yet, make several of them, with different backstories, different weapons, and, of course, different levels of power. It’s much more entertaining to watch them plot a devious scenario on how to make someone’s life miserable than to actually see the protagonists doing good things or falling in love with a long lost cousin.

We noticed that the most outrageous criminal minds and simply dark-soul characters come with soap operas. And who does the soapy storylines better than General Hospital, right?

Fans of the show (which has been on the air for more than 60 years) have seen a lot of different types of villains. But it seems they are tired of the creepy shenanigans of the new ones and want the legendary ones back. It's time to shake things up again on General Hospital!

Redditors have decided that they want to bring back these three villains more than any others. Check out if you agree with them.

Anthony Zacchara

The name that appears in almost every nostalgia post on the General Hospital reddit thread is of Anthony Zacchara. And we can easily understand why. The guy was one of the mobster rivals of mob boss Sonny Corinthos, but his list of crimes can’t fit an A4 paper. The guy was portrayed by Bruce Weitz from 2007 until 2012.

“Oh my gosh, Anthony Zacchara takes me back. I can still remember when Sonny was holding Johnny prisoner and he started playing Billy Joel’s Nocturne…he and Lulu had such a dramatic relationship arc,” Redditor SunlitLavenderFields said.

Jerry Jacks

Jerard Aloysius “Jerry” Jacks is another General Hospital old-time villain who the fans of the series would like to see back on their screens. He appeared on screen in 1998-99, and then again in 2007 and stayed until 2015.

“Jerry was pretty badass. When he took over the Metro Court and held all those people hostage, that was one of my favorite storylines,” Redditor MitaJoey20 said.

Lorenzo Alcazar

The third villain the fans want to see again is of course Lorenzo Alcazar, played by actor Ted King from 2003 until 2007.

“One of my favorite GH characters, and my absolute favorite of Sonny's rivals. Lorenzo had charm, he was smart, he could be suave and serious, and was according to some just as popular (if not more) than Sonny, once Ted is done at B&B (if he isn't already) I hope Ted would be open to a return, if offered. Lorenzo would definitely shake things up,” Redditor Geekqueen15 said.
