Tolkien fans can be relentless at times. Many still complain that Peter Jackson's trilogy is missing some important points, while defenders of the film claim that the director got everything right.

The Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien is a classic work of literature that has captivated readers for decades.

The epic trilogy has been adapted into several films, but there are still scenes from the books that fans wish had made it to the big screen.

One scene that many fans lamented was left out of the movies was the confrontation between Saruman and the Shire. In the books, the White Wizard of Isengard had taken over the Shire and enslaved the Hobbits.

When Gandalf and his companions arrive to free the Halflings, they are ambushed by Saruman and his henchmen.

The ensuing battle is fierce, and when all seems lost, the hobbits rise up against their oppressors and help to defeat their land.

This scene is a powerful moment that shows the bravery and strength of the little folks. But, of course, the controversy with Tom Bombadil and Barrow-Downs will never end.

A company of Hobbits traveled through the Valley of the Dead and almost stayed there forever, until they were rescued by a wonderful creature who lived in the ancient forest and protected his little house, his beautiful wife and his beloved animals.

Tolkien did not want to reveal Bombadil's identity, but many theories suggest that Tom is the creator of Middle-earth.

There is no answer to this question, and it is unlikely to be, but fans still insist that this scene should have been included in the movie, although it doesn't really work storywise…

While the Lord of the Rings movies were masterpieces in their own right, there are still scenes from the books that fans wish had made it to the big screen.

These pieces are powerful, emotional, and crucial to the story, and it would have been amazing to see them brought to life by the talented filmmakers who brought us the beloved trilogy.
