Enemies-to-lovers trope always hits.

One thing the soaps have always survived on is a good and juicy drama. No one would want to watch these shows if it weren't for the twists and turns of crime and love all rolled into one.

From tame love triangles to long lost twins, cheating and betrayal, and people coming back from the dead, the more shocked the viewer is, the more chances there are for them to come back the next day.

But to make the experience as immersive as possible, the actors need to have good chemistry. And it looks like General Hospital has found its new best bet for love and drama in the least expected character duo.

Are Drew and Nina Together Now?

While the dramatic storyline between Drew, Carly, Nina, and Sonny over the past six months has gotten rather tiresome by the end, it suddenly seems to be getting a lot more interesting lately. With Carly out of the picture for Drew and Sonny out of the picture for Nina, viewers began to notice an unexpected tension.

It didn't take long for Drew and Nina to find their way into each other's arms. Starting out as enemies, the crazy tension finally found its way out, and viewers couldn't be more intrigued to see where it all could lead. One of the very possible versions, however, would take the chaos to a whole new level.

Even though the chemistry between Cameron Mathison and Cynthia Watros, who portray Drew and Nina, is stronger than many of the other couples on General Hospital, there's another person Drew could have fallen for. Katelyn MacMullen's Willow is just as strong a candidate for Drew's affections.

Surely the affair between her newfound lover and her daughter would have destroyed Nina and left her devastated. And perhaps that is exactly what Drew wants to accomplish. Given the nature of their relationship in the very recent past, one cannot rule out the possibility that this is all part of his cruel game.

What's worse for Nina, and better for General Hospital as a soap, is that seeing the chemistry between two characters may make viewers forgive the disturbing age difference and root for this unlikely couple even more.

If you are interested in seeing where the show will take this trio, be sure to tune in to General Hospital Monday through Friday on ABC.
