Dexter: Original Sin and 4 Other Anticipated Series to Be Released This December

December is already here, and to make the holidays come sooner, we suggest watching new series based on great novels, telling about cult characters and British spies.
1. Secret Level
Release Date: December 10, 2024

An anthology in the style of Love Death + Robots, but about video games. Secret Level is a collection of 16 video game adaptations in the form of animation, including God of War, Concord, which was a big flop this year, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
A digitized Keanu Reeves will appear on screen, and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kevin Hart will lend their voices to the characters. Fans are particularly excited about the episode on Sifu, one of the most conceptually interesting games on the list.
2. Dexter: Original Sin

Showtime is still trying to bring back Dexter. They decided to make a prequel, and it doesn't matter that the necessary backstory was told in the first seasons.
Original Sin is about the young main character trying to understand his secret desires and formulate a code of rules with the help of his adoptive father, Detective Harry Morgan.
Don't set your expectations too high, and especially don't watch it if you're not familiar with the original seasons. Original Sin is primarily a gift for Dexter fans.
3. One Hundred Years of Solitude

This year, Netflix took on a classic of magical realism, Gabriel García Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude. The story, which spans decades, focuses on several generations of the Buendía family.
The characters grow up and fall in love, go through civil war and are reborn, while Colombia and Latin America evolve in the background. We recommend that you first read the truly outstanding source material, which masterfully blends reality and fiction, and then start the series, which will clearly yield to your imagination.
4. Creature Commandos

The long-awaited launch of James Gunn 's updated DC Cinematic Universe. They start off modestly – with just a seven-episode animated series.

A British spy who has been leaking her husband's secrets for years finds her life turned upside down when her lover is murdered. Her worried employers send in an old friend to protect her from potential threats.
Black Doves is one of the many must-watch shows of December for several reasons. The most obvious is the duet between Ben Whishaw and Keira Knightley. The second: Netflix has already renewed the series for a second season, which is a rarity for the streaming giant these days.
