From multiple pedo jokes to Raj trying to cheat Penny out of her celestial find by putting only his name down as discoverer to where Leonard tries to watch football to fit in with Penny's friends so Penny just dying inside of embarrassment the whole time – you have plenty of scenes to choose from.
A lot of redditors agreed that actually whatever Howard used to say or do before he met Bernie was cringey enough to make it to the top of the list. Any time Howard opened his mouth in the first couple seasons left viewers feeling uncomfortable or straight up facepalming.
But what would you expect from an aerospace engineer and an ex-astronaut with an overbearing mother, eh?
Another super-cringey moment is all about Penny; remember that scene with her Penny talking about the webcam in the bear from Howard?
Oh yes, this one is a shocker. Actually, this one can be the cringiest moment of all. It is when Howard who's fond of hooking up with women and seeing himself as a womanizer makes a revelation to Penny. The teddy bear that he gave her had a hidden web-camera inside. Why? Of course, to spy on her! Such strange – to put it mildly behavior is 100% cringey. Actually, in real life Howard would have got into trouble. Such voyeuristic preferences would have landed him on the register.
And staying on the 'womanizer' topic there's an episode with a man stalking Penny.
