5 Cult TV Shows That Were Undeservedly Forgotten
If you're tired of new innumerable projects, maybe it's time to return to the forgotten classics?
These series made history, won many awards and the love of millions of viewers.
For some reason, however, the trace of their former glory has almost completely disappeared – perhaps too many years have passed since the premiere, or they may have been eclipsed by many new projects.
In this list, there are shows that deserve to be remembered.
Moonlighting
Moonlighting was a popular detective television series that aired from 1985 to 1989.
The story of the vivacious, intelligent beauty Maddie, played by Cybill Shepherd, who quickly made the transition from model to detective to earn money, was instantly loved by millions of viewers.
She was accompanied by a young and ambitious Bruce Willis, who had not yet experienced the resounding success of Die Hard.
Orphan Black
Canadian science fiction series that takes the ethical side of cloning and human control to a new level. The main character, Sarah, accidentally witnesses a suicide one day.
Seeing that the deceased looks exactly like her, the main character decides to take place of the dead girl.
In doing so, the protagonist exposes the plan of a private company that used government money to create a series of clones of Sarah.
Black Books
A funny, ridiculous and at times surreal series about the incidents that happen to the rather eccentric bookshop owner Bernard Black, who likes to drink at any time of the day, but does not like the visitors to his shop at all.
Poirot
The series lasted a record 24 years on television without any change of the main stars. Now, it's hard to imagine that anyone could have done a more faithful and accurate job of bringing Agatha Christie's works to the screen.
Highlander
Born in Scotland in 1592, Duncan MacLeod is a descendant of the ancient Clan MacLeod. He is a member of the immortal caste, whose destiny is to live forever, perfecting his martial skills by fighting with other immortals.
Throughout his four hundred years of life, Duncan participates in many historical events, gains and loses friends and loved ones, and, of course, kills the immortals who interfere with his life in their quest for world domination.
