Young Sheldon Star Couldn't Get Through This Scene With a Straight Face
Montana Jordan playing George Jr. told about one Young Sheldon scene that was difficult to film because he couldn't help but laugh on camera.
The Big Bang Theory has given the world several hilarious characters that have become friends to millions of fans. With time, their names acquired a nominal meaning, used to describe certain character traits. The most used of these names is without a doubt Sheldon Cooper, the uptight neat freak and genius scientist.
Though The Big Bang Theory ended back in 2019, Sheldon's name lives on thanks to the CBS sitcom's spinoff Young Sheldon. The show that started as a story of the genius boy growing up in a small Texas town has become a popular family comedy that tells the story of not only Young Sheldon played by Iain Armitage but also of his family.
Each member of the Cooper family has gotten a decent story arc, and each of them is beloved by fans. Iain Armitage's co-stars are Zoe Perry playing Sheldon's mother Mary Cooper, Lance Barber portraying the father of the family George Cooper Sr., Montana Jordan and Raegan Revord playing Sheldon's siblings, George Jr. and Missy, Annie Potts portraying Meemaw.
This cast has contributed to Young Sheldon becoming a fan-favorite show and developing beyond its parent sitcom.
One of the beloved actors, Montana Jordan, agrees that the casting was perfect. The actor told Glitter Magazine that he was "born" for the role of George Jr. and wouldn't trade his experience on the set of Young Sheldon for anything.
Of course, Montana has lots of hilarious experiences and memories when it comes to the show. He said once that "there's never a dull moment" when working with his amazing colleagues. For example, when remembering the funniest on-set moments in a chat with a young YouTuber It GiRL, Jordan instantly remembered one hilarious scene.
"There's a scene where Georgie and George Sr. We're hiding something from Mary, and Mary came home from shopping. George Sr. was like "act cool" and sat in the leather chair that was really squeaky. And when he sat in this chair, it sounded like he was "farting." He was shifting around a lot and every time he moved, the chair would "fart", and I could not hold it together. I just kept laughing, it was hilarious," Jordan described.
