Prepare for two very special episodes.

It's hard to believe that Hollyoaks, created by Phil Redmond, has been on air since 1995. The show counts at 6055 episodes and was able to stay relevant to this day only because of ever-changing production methods.

One secret to keeping the audience's attention is signing the new talent, and Hollyoaks casting directors were always on it.

As the show was always focused on the social issues surrounding the lives of young people, diversity has always been a priority in the minds of producers.

Since the minorities' voices became louder, and the need for them to be heard became even more prominent, this became even more of a focus.

If in its earlier years, the show did not require as many characters, recently the cast has grown to about 50 people, including guest stars and some recurring roles.

Many personalities like Rick Astley and Bonnie Tyler joined Hollyoaks for an episode portraying themselves. Others, like Ray Quinn and Linda Gray got their own characters and storylines.

Seems like RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 4 winner Danny Beard will soon enough join the latter with his new special cameo.

Danny already won over some hearts of the audience with his sparkling performance of the Rocky Horror hit on Britain Got Talent in 2016, and his outstanding drag looks.

Blinding the audience not only with his looks but shining personality, Beard seems to be the perfect addition to the Hollyoaks.

It has been revealed that in the episode we will be following another story of the life of a young couple Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) and Peri Lomax (Ruby O'Donnell).

As they find themselves in a difficult situation and their belongings unexpectedly go missing, only one person can come to rescue – their fairy godmother Danny, who's willing to give them a ride home.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights on Channel 4, so stay tuned to not miss this emotional, yet heartwarming story.
