Worst Bridgerton Subplot Fans Hope Won't Make a Comeback in Season 3

As fans polish their teacups for another season of Bridgerton, there is one particular arc that many people would like to see go away, thank you very much.
Season 3 will focus on the story of Colin and Penelope (also known as Polin), and while just about everyone is excited to see where the story of Bridgerton's "Disney couple" goes, Penelope's family is just... over the top.
"This show making the Featheringtons more important than they needed to be was a mistake," Twitter user burkhcrts said.
According to fans, the Featheringtons were the "least enjoyable subplot" of season 2, and many people would prefer to see the family receive less attention in the upcoming third chapter.
Some people are even ready to boycott season 3 just because of the Featheringtons definitely being the center of the story. As many people have already pointed out, it would be impossible to develop the romance between Colin and Penelope and completely ignore the latter's family at the same time.
However, not everyone is against the Featheringtons. In fact, some fans think they provide a good comic relief to the constant drama that goes on in the show pretty much all the time.
"I really enjoy the Featheringtons. I find them fun. I like going back and forth between the love story, the other Bridgerton family members, the Featheringtons, and others outside those two families. Breaks up the heavy drama with lighter drama and funnier scenes," Redditor lavinient said.
The premiere date for Bridgerton season 3 has yet to be scheduled, but many fans believe that the release could be slated for late spring or summer 2023.
