It might have something to do with a certain iconic car...

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for The Winchesters season 1 finale

Dean Winchester's 1967 Chevrolet Impala was a real staple in the Supernatural series, almost having its own loyal fanbase and becoming one of the main characters.

After the filming for Supernaturals was over, it was only fair for Jensen Ackles to take his most beloved prop back home, so Baby left with him.

With Impala being so important to all, the storyline, the actors, and the fans watching back home, no wonder everyone went head over heels once they found out about its comeback.

Baby has returned to the screens on The Winchesters, the Supernatural spinoff, telling a story about brothers' parents.

Although the first appearance of both Dean and his precious Baby in this timeline was confusing to the fans, they were still ecstatic to welcome them to the screens.

Some would even go as far as saying that seeing Baby again, and hearing her engine go, was almost more exciting than seeing Dean.

Not only fans, but the actors as well totally understood the importance of this car, so the stakes were high. Meg Donnelly, who portrays Mary Winchester, was the one to get the honor of actually sitting behind the wheel of an iconic car in The Winchesters season 1 finale.

As cool as it looked on-screen, the actress admitted to being absolutely terrified during the shooting process. "Fun fact: I got my license for this ep to drive Baby real fast," she revealed on her Twitter.

Everyone was both quick to support the actress and ensure her that these emotions did not show on camera, and joked around about the state Jensen Ackles was in at the time of shooting these scenes.

Surely, he would be worried to give his Impala to someone with little to no driving experience. Some fans even assumed he would insist on giving Meg a couple of driving lessons before letting her drive the car for real.

Thankfully, as far as we know, no damage was caused. Baby is now back home with her rightful owner, and all the viewers get to see her in action on their screens once again.

The Winchesters season 1 finale premiered on March 7. It is unclear whether the show will be renewed for the second season yet.
