Will 'The Flight Attendant' Be Renewed For Season 3? Kaley Cuoco Weighs In
It looks like the future of the hit HBO Max's comedy series is in turmoil, as Kaley Cuoco has broken her silence about the possibility of a third season.
When the show's first season came out last year, 'The Big Bang Theory ' star received all kinds of praise for her performance as an out-of-luck stewardess Cassie Bowden. However, the second season released this year, which features numerous clones of Cuoco's character, failed to reach the heights of the original, somewhat disappointing to fans and critics alike. And it looks like Cuoco won't fight the streaming service to keep her show afloat, preferring for it to sink after all.
Speaking with People, Cuoco talked about how she feels about making season three a reality and commented on the unexpected wish of the HBO Max production team.
"Now, I'm like, 'Well, we did two. We should probably be done.' And I think I've been outnumbered with that thought. There's definitely interest in doing a third season. I think for me, at this moment, the plane has landed," Cuoco said.
But, fans of 'The Flight Attendant ', don't lose hope of seeing the adorable Cassie again, as Cuoco has not refused to reappear as this character, describing her reluctance to star as a kind of break.
"I think I need a minute. I just kind of feel like we just ended. Some of my favorite shows on TV take some time to come back, and then I get very excited about a new season. I want to make sure that the fans are excited and that we're not pushing it too hard," Cuoco added.
However, some of the actress' fans are rather cautious about waiting for season three, arguing that a season two finale could be a great way to end the series.
