This little scene definitely made a lasting impression on the fans.

Homelander, the main antagonist of Eric Kripke's superhero TV series The Boys, has committed a variety of atrocities over the course of the show's three-season run.

But one particularly horrific act of evil perpetrated by our favorite twisted version of Superman is often overlooked due to its relatively small scale.

However, upon closer inspection, it could be considered one of the most disgusting acts committed by the Homelander in the entire series.

In the second episode of the third season, Homelander lands on the roof where a girl named Chelsea is preparing to jump to heroically save her in front of the TV cameras on his birthday, no less.

Though the interaction begins normally enough, events quickly take a dark turn when Homelander sees on a nearby news billboard that Stormfront, his love interest and a Nazi superhuman, has committed suicide.

This shocking revelation quickly causes the "heroic savior" to drop his friendly facade and transform into the sociopath he really is in front of an unsuspecting Chelsea.

Though the woman has changed her tune and is no longer willing to jump, the frustrated Homelander launches into a vicious tirade about how superior he and Stormfront are to ordinary people, eventually intimidating the girl into taking her own life.

Thanks to Antony Starr 's brilliantly menacing performance, fans were shocked and disgusted by his character throughout this tense scene. According to them, it had a different impact because of how small and personal it was.

"I felt really bad for Chelsea and annoyed and intimidated by Homelander. Seeing his plunge into not caring about people seeing his true self is actually scary. To think someone like that could be so unhinged is also a scary thought. I love this show!" Reddit user S-058 said.

They point out that the fact that he intimidated the girl into jumping just to make himself feel better was arguably the most horrifying and disgusting character moment of all time.

However, it was something of a guilty pleasure due to Starr's incredible acting, which only solidified Homelander as one of the most deliciously evil characters in television history.

The release date for The Boys season 4 has not yet been announced, but fans are eager to see what the writers have in store for them given the Homelander's increasingly unhinged behavior.
