Will Missy Appear in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage?
Although her comeback would please millions of fans, the actress herself is not so sure about her participation in the upcoming project.
Fans of The Big Bang Theory should get ready for the release of another spin-off — the upcoming series, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
This time we will get a comedy about Georgie and Mandy learning about family life and its nuances in Texas. Mandy will most likely not be the only wife of the older Cooper brother, because in TBBT it became known that he was divorced several times and also became a successful entrepreneur.
Georgie dropped out of school at the age of 17 and got a full-time job at a laundromat, where he met his future bride. Mandy was 29 at the time, but Cooper Jr. lied about his age. The girl later learned the truth, but was already pregnant.
Reagan Revord Is Hesitant to Return to the TBBT Universe
The new project will also feature some of the Young Sheldon cast, though it has not been officially confirmed who will and won't return. Many fans want to see Missy back on the small screen. However, actress Reagan Revord is apparently not eager to return to the familiar franchise:
“I’m not sure. I mean, if Young Sheldon had gotten more seasons, I would have 10,000% signed on to do more. But now that it’s over, I’m also kind of excited to see what else is out there and try different things.”
Young Sheldon Is Reagan's Biggest Project So Far
Reagan Revord's career began when she was only 6 years old. Her mother started taking the little child to several auditions, and the girl was finally cast on Modern Family. In two episodes, Revord played Megan. Reagan starred in the first, Won't You Be Our Neighbor, in 2014. Two years later, she also took part in the episode titled The Storm.
The girl was able to star in two short films during this period, Tortoise and Jia. She co-starred with David Arquette as the lead in the first film, and in the second one, she played the lead role of Anna, a female fighter.
Young Sheldon, the Big Bang Theory spin-off in which Reagan played a major role, was undoubtedly her most successful project. Missy is not as academically gifted as the intelligent but socially awkward Sheldon, but she excels in empathy and interpersonal connections.
The young actress rewatched The Big Bang Theory and studied actress Laurie Metcalf, who portrayed Sheldon's mother in the original series, to perfect her Texas accent in order to play her character as truthfully as possible.
