'Obi-Wan Kenobi' plot leaks have ignited a firestorm regarding how Disney treats the Star Wars franchise, and particularly the upcoming Jedi Master TV show.

Warning: the following article contains major unconfirmed spoilers for 'Obi-Wan Kenobi '.

After 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' plot leaks suggested that Kenobi is going to fail to protect Luke Skywalker, and the boy will in fact be saved by the mercy of inquisitor Reva, fans lost it.

Fans Outraged Over 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Leak, And You Don't Want to Know Why

Some of them just plain refused to even watch the show, even though it is not out yet and the leaks might be false, while others suggested that Disney is simply following its formula of revisiting the "white-male-centric" franchises.

According to them, the Reva plot twist might indicate that the character will be getting its own spin-off show, and 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' will end up being used as a "backdoor pilot".

And it looks like Disney is not the only studio that is actively pursuing this "formula" mentioned above.

There is a chance that leaks have nothing to do with the actual plot of 'Obi-Wan Kenobi', but we will only know that for sure after the show premieres on Disney Plus on May 27.
