When Netflix made it official that Bridgerton was renewed for season 3, fans were over the moon. And as it approaches, more and more details are emerging about the upcoming season, and we couldn't be more excited!

As we all remember, season 1 mainly focused on Daphne and her husband, Simon Bassett. Season 2, on the other hand, followed Anthony Bridgerton and his love triangle with the charming Sharma sisters, Edwina and Kate. By the end of the season, we witnessed how Kate and Anthony found their way to each other after a number of challenges.

Their romance won the hearts of millions of viewers who can't wait to see more of them. To that end, there is a burning question on everyone's mind that needs to be answered: Will Bridgerton give us more Kanthony? Let's find out!

Bridgerton's Sex Scenes Came With a Fair Share of Juggling

The end of season 2 saw Kate and Anthony married and living happily ever after, with Kate taking on the new royal title of a viscountess. Now, it's been revealed that the series will shift its focus to Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton's (Luke Newton) relationship in season 3. However, after the shock announcement that we'll no longer be seeing Regé-Jean Page's Duke of Hastings, fans were left wondering whether Kate and Anthony will make their return.

Well, as it turns out, Kanthony is not going anywhere, and the next season will be even more thrilling than the last one! Actress Simone Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma, disclosed to E! News that the next chapter will get so steamy that it will be "condensation central."

Ashley has also expressed her high hopes for Kate and Anthony's story. "I'm excited to see Kate become a viscountess and head of the household. I think she has much to learn from Anthony. They'll be two little partners, doing it together. I'd love to see them have a baby, to put it simply. Maybe that will happen, maybe it won't. But hopefully, it will," she explained.

With Kate's strong-willed character and the pair's new roles as the heads of the Bridgerton family, they're guaranteed to encounter many adventures, which will undoubtedly be interesting to see. We don't know what exactly the new season will bring, but one thing's for sure – it will be filled with new and exciting twists and turns.

Bridgerton Would Be Getting More Deaths and Drama If Not Based on Books

Netflix is yet to reveal the release date, but if all goes well, the production is expected to wrap up by December 2022. We'll just have to wait and see!
