Harley Quinn could never.

League of Legends-based Netflix hit Arcane has managed to hook even those outside of the popular videogame's lore. Now that we slowly approach a two-year anniversary of Arcane season 1 premiere, fans can't help but feed off of theories and speculations to make the long wait a little less excruciating.

One fan theory about the show's most prominent and chaotic character, Jinx, is particularly interesting — and heartbreaking if you think about it.

The first season left Jinx in a very bad place, to say the least. After killing her father figure, Silco, she doesn't hesitate to launch a rocket straight into Piltover's Council room, where, ironically, a peace treaty ensuring Zaun's independence is being forged.

Between her two personalities — lovely Powder and insane Jinx — she chooses the latter, and her reconciliation with her sister Vi seems to be off the table, even though Jinx lets her live.

Many fans on Arcane's subreddit believe that season 2 will have Jinx descending further into madness. But one particular theory breaks down exactly how.

Remember how Jinx spent the entire first season talking to the ghosts of Mylo and Claggor? Yeah, well, Redditor EternalPain791 suggests that in season 2, she will go as far as applying personalities to her... weapons.

And it makes so much sense it's actually painful.

Jinx has three guns: rocket launcher Fishbones (the one that she used to nuke the Council), minigun Pow Pow, and pistol Zap. According to the theory, the personalities of dead people who Jinx cared about will be applied to these weapons.

Fishbones might have Silco's voice, because "she made the weapon for him and styled it after one of the sea monsters he was fascinated with." The only thing that doesn't fit it is the fact that in League of Legends, Jinx gave Fishbones a personality a lot kinder than the one Silco had, but who said that Arcane will necessarily follow the game? However, even if Silco doesn't work, then Fishbones might obtain the personality of Claggor.

Pow Pow is pretty obvious — it's the "incarnation" of Powder, Jinx's previous innocent and hurt personality that she seeks to bury in herself. Meanwhile, the theory author believes Zap is definitely a Mylo — simply because the name gives off some negative vibes, and Mylo pretty much only bullied Powder in the beginning of the season, continuing to do so as a ghost later.

Even the entire "personality" thing won't add up, Fishbones may just be a mix of every person who supported Jinx (read Silco, Claggor, or even maybe Vi, occasionally); Zap — a combination of every bully in Jinx's life, and Pow Pow is herself and all the innocents she killed on her way to make peace with herself.

No matter how exactly Arcane season 2 shows Jinx's worsening madness, it's clear that she is likely to become the very gleeful maniac we know from the game. The fan theory suggests she will commit even more terroristic attacks, potentially even destroying the Hex Gate.

However, considering the number of Jinx fans, the show might as well make sure she has room for a redemption arc; which, let's be honest, already seems quite a challenge for the writers.

The premiere date of Arcane season 2 remains to be set, but it is expected to release in late 2024.
