Why is Chris Pine a Meme Now?
It's always fun when something – or someone – becomes a meme template out of the blue.
Venice Film Festival gave us a lot to talk about: from Timothee Chalamet sporting a scarlet backless top to Brendan Fraser tearing up after a 6-minute ovation the audience gave him. But could the festival leave us without a fresh meme? Of course, it could not.
That's where Chris Pine, one of the actors from 'Don't Worry Darling', stepped in. In fact, he didn't do anything in particular, just attending a press conference and being himself, but the way he looked while doing it prompted fans to think that he was going through "a Joker moment" or regretting his life choices.
Some people compared him with another pop culture character, Haymitch from 'The Hunger Games '. If so, just where are his tributes?
Many fans thought that Pine was simply done with all the drama surrounding the movie and simply waited for it all to be over. And honestly? Same, Chris.
Or maybe it was about his castmates' answers to some of the questions? We'll just never know.

Besides, there is an entire investigation on Twitter now focusing on whether Harry Styles, one of Pine's castmates, actually spat on him when sitting next to Chris at the Venice festival premiere. The footage showing the brief interaction between the two led many fans to think that this actually happened, but there are people who simply refuse to believe that such a thing was even possible at the premiere.
People are already joking about how Pine should be "financially compensated" for the "fiasco" that the 'Don't Worry Darling' premiere has been. Aside from Pine turning into a meme, the premiere also had Florence Pugh arriving late and with an Aperol spritz, and Olivia Wilde apparently experiencing tensions with pretty much everyone in the cast.
'Don't Worry Darling' is set to release on September 23, 2022 in the US.
