According to the theory, Kang, the antagonist from Quantumania, didn't actually meet his end as we were led to believe. Instead, when he was absorbed into the multiverse power core, he was transported back in time and assumed the alias of Victor Timely.
The theory suggests that Kang, or Victor, is the original Nathaniel Richards. This would explain why Loki and Mobius are so interested in a seemingly random variant of Kang. They're not after just any variant; they're after the original, the one responsible for the existence of all the other variants.
In the finale of Loki season 1, Ravonna left the TVA. In the trailer for season 2, we see her in the same timeline as Victor Timely. This suggests that she was aware of the plans of He Who Remains.
