David Tennant has had an impressive career over the years, sharing the screen with all sorts of big Hollywood names, but there is one actress who he definitely loves acting opposite the most.
Of course, it’s Tennant’s long-time friend and colleague Nina Sosanya, and here are eight projects that they have done together.
8. People Like Us (1999–2001)
One of Tennant’s earliest roles came about in a 2001 episode of this Office predecessor mockumentary titled The Actor, where he played actor Rob Harker, and Sosanya portrayed Cassie Pearson. Ah, the memories!
7. Casanova (2005)
On his way to Doctor Who fame, David first stopped by 18th-century Italy to tell the audience the tale of Giacomo Casanova. Nina, in turn, played the ever-so-gorgeous Bellino, and the two shared a few passionate scenes in the series!

6. Doctor Who (1963–...)
The actor got cast in the titular role as the Tenth Doctor, and his pal joined him in a 2006 episode Fear Her as Trish Webber, the mother of a girl whose body and mind were abducted by a lonely and powerful alien.
5. Love’s Labour’s Lost (2008)
This time, old friends met on stage. Tennant landed the role of Lord Berowne, and Sosanya got cast as Lady Rosaline. Don’t these two make just the best duo ever?
4. 96 Ways to Say I Love You (2015)
David and Nina appeared in this short film together as Mark and Lily, a couple who is trying to express their feelings to each other for the first time. Funnily enough, Tennant’s wife Georgia Moffett is also in this movie, though she plays the partner of another character.
3. You, Me, and Him (2017)
The film follows a lesbian couple and their womanizing neighbor John, played by David, as their lives get complicated thanks to a surprise pregnancy. Nina makes an appearance as Dr. Parks.

2. Good Omens ( 2019–...)
Tennant’s most recent role as demon Crowley has secured him a new wave of fans, and Sosanya has played a couple of beloved characters too – Sister Mary Loquacious in season 1 and coffee shop owner Nina in season 2.
1. Staged (2020–2022)
This series is basically Good Omens’ real-life spinoff, starring David Tennant and Michael Sheen as themselves. Nina Sosanya makes an appearance in several roles again – as Jo, the financier of the play, in season 1 and as herself in seasons 2 and 3.
