With viral rumors suggesting that Wednesday breakout star Jenna Ortega is about to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Daredevil 's White Tiger, true fans know that the Disney star has, in fact, been a part of the MCU this entire time.
Naturally, time has passed, and her character was not as prominent for the storyline, but still: Jenna Ortega is officially a part of Iron Man 3.
If you re-watch the movie, you'll spot her as the vice president's daughter. Her appearance was brief was notable for fans, especially now that she has risen to stardom after stealing the show in Netflix 's Wednesday.
However, it is widely speculated that Ortega is set to secure a much bigger MCU gig now, with reports suggesting she will portray White Tiger in the upcoming Disney Plus Matt Murdock solo project, Daredevil: Born Again.
The news has not been officially confirmed by the studio or Ortega herself; however, this has not stopped fans from creating fan art and rallying for the Wednesday star to be cast as Ava Ayala in the upcoming series.
Ayala a.k.a. White Tiger is a master of martial arts who uses a magical amulet she inherited to grant her superpowers. In the comics, Matt Murdock is her mentor in the world of superheroes.
However, Ortega's return to the MCU is currently nothing more than fan dreams. Daredevil: Born Again is set to premiere in spring 2024, with the first season to consist of 18 episodes.
