When will The Walking Dead series finale air?
Despite earlier statements that the finale would air on AMC+ a week before the cable premiere, the studio has changed their decision, and The Walking Dead finale will air simultaneously on the AMC channel and the AMC+ streaming service on November 20th at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET.

Why is its title Rest in Peace?
The final episode is titled after Volume 32 of Image Comics The Walking Dead. It is the final volume that includes issues 187-193 and concludes the original comic story of The Walking Dead Universe.
Will the ending repeat that of the comic book?
Chief content officer, Scott M. Gimple, told Entertainment Weekly that The Walking Dead finale plot will be simultaneously similar and different to the ending of the comic book. Throughout eleven seasons, the show has made a lot of changes in the arcs of major characters, the most important of them being the death of Carl and surviving of his father Rick.
Carl plays a big role in the finale of the comic story. Volume 32 shows him about twenty years after the series' events, living with his wife Sophia Peletier (who was killed in season 2 of the AMC show) and daughter, Andrea. The new world is much safer and walkers are seen as something exotic rather than dangerous. With Carl's death in season 8, he clearly can't become the narrator of the finale, so the creators of the show might replace him with his sister Judith or even father Rick, whose return is very much expected by fans.
Who will die in the finale?
It is hard to say who will die in the final episode but, thanks to the numerous spinoff announcements, we know who will survive. Fans of Negan, Maggie, Daryl, Rick, and Michonne have nothing to worry about as they will be able to meet beloved characters again in the future.
