What Is The Office Cast Doing Now, 10 Years After Show Ended?
The Office ended its run in 2013, but its actors still frequently appear in movies and television projects.
It has been 10 years since the last episode of the cult series The Office aired. The sitcom about the everyday life of employees at a paper company was not only a thunderclap in the television industry of the 2000s, but also in pop culture in general – fans still watch the show.
Here's how the lives of the cast have changed since the show ended.
Steve Carell
After leaving the show, Carell continued his acting career. He has appeared on hit shows like The Morning Show and Netflix 's Space Force.
But Carell's main accomplishment is in dramatic roles. His performance in the sports drama Foxcatcher earned him an Academy Award nomination. And the role of the caring father of a drug-addicted teenager in Beautiful Boy is rightfully one of the best of his career.
After working in The Office, John Krasinski tried his hand at directing. His first work as an author was the film adaptation of David Foster Wallace's collection of short stories, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, in which he also starred.
In 2018, Krasinski received widespread recognition for writing, directing and starring in the successful horror movie A Quiet Place. The sequel was released in 2021 and received slightly more restrained reviews.
Jenna Fischer
After the show's finale, Jenna Fischer continued her career on the small screen. She starred in the fantasy comedy You, Me and the Apocalypse and the detective story The Mysteries of Laura.
Her most important roles are in the comedies Brad's Status and Hall Pass.
In 2019, she launched the Office Ladies podcast with her real-life best friend and former co-star Angela Kinsey, in which they re-watch the series and share their experiences.
Rainn Wilson
After The Office, Wilson appeared in supporting roles in Blackbird, The Meg, and voiced a role in The Smurfs: The Lost Village. He also pursued a career in television. Wilson starred in Star Trek: Discovery and played a misanthropic detective in the comedy series Backstrom.
