In 2000, Pasdar married country musician Natalie Maines of The Chicks, only a year after they met at a mutual friend's wedding. That same year, Pasdar appeared in the music video for The Chicks song 'Goodbye Earl'.
Sadly, after 17 years of marriage and the birth of two sons, the couple announced their divorce. It took nearly two years for the split to be finalized, with bitter allegations made on both sides.
As part of the divorce settlement, Pasdar wanted to legally prevent The Chicks from writing songs about him. If you've heard their album Gaslighter you know that the attempt was pretty much a failure: although it's not explicit that the songs are about Pasdar, it's essentially a breakup album.
Pasdar has not remarried since his split, but his name has since been linked to his former Colony co-star Amanda Righetti.
