More than 25 years ago, the first episode of a horror series about a high school girl who kills vampires was released. For Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan, David Boreanaz and many others, this TV show became a springboard into the world of big cinema.

Sarah Michelle Gellar
Sarah has been acting since she was four years old. However, the movie Cruel Intentions and Buffy the Vampire Slayer brought her the greatest fame.
In between filming Buffy, Sarah continued to build her career, starring in the horror movies Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, as well as the comedy Scooby-Doo. In 2004, the actress starred in the US remake of the Japanese horror The Grudge.
The actress' most recent major projects were the horror series Wolf Pack, the Netflix comedy Do Revenge and Kevin Smith's Clerks III.
Alyson Hannigan
In Buffy the Vampire Slayer Hannigan got the role of Willow, the best friend of the main character.
Hannigan's acting career did not stop after the show ended. After Buffy, Alyson landed the role of Lily in the cult sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
She can also be seen in the Disney film adaptation of the animated series Kim Possible, the comedy series Outmatched, and the Disney show Doogie Kamealoha, M. D.
Nicholas Brendon
Aspiring actor Nicholas Brendon had to work hard to get on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Brendon auditioned four times for the role of Xander Harris before the producers approved him.
After the show ended, Brendon starred on the theater stage. At the same time, he continued to appear in episodic roles in TV series such as Criminal Minds and Shonda Rhimes’ Private Practice.
Lately, the actor has been filming mostly low-budget projects like Dawn and The Inspector Chronicles.
Michelle Trachtenberg
After the success of Buffy, Michelle was able to consolidate her success with the comedy EuroTrip, where she played one of the lead roles.
In 2008, Trachtenberg received a prominent role in the TV series Gossip Girl and immediately got into the Teen Choice Awards nominations. The actress also took part in the popular comedy 17 Again, where she starred alongside Zac Efron and Matthew Perry.

David Boreanaz
