It looks like Paramount+ got a hit on its hands, with latest 'Star Trek' spinoff series receiving rave reviews on Twitter.
The plot of the upcoming series will center on Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount ) and the crew of the starship USS Enterprise, exploring distant galaxies 10 years before the events of the original 'Star Trek ' series. Critic Scott Manz called the series a "return to form", praising it for its fun and exciting weekly portion of adventure, strongly reminiscent of the original and still revered classic series. ScreenRant's brand director Rob Keyes called 'Strange New Worlds' the best starting show in the franchise's esteemed catalog.
Fans support the show too. Having seen only one episode, they are already convinced that the show has chosen its direction perfectly – while complementing 'Picard' and 'Discovery', it has found its own way to portray the thrill of space travel. And yes, the show looks phenomenal, with great CGI and top-notch production design.
