Wednesday Cast Wants Season 2 to Kill All Love Stories… Except One
Actors want the story to be about something more than silly love triangles.
As fans nervously await the premiere of Wednesday 's season 2 on Netflix, they are openly sharing their preferences about what they want to see in the new season.
The recent news that Jenna Ortega will be one of the executive producers only adds fuel to this discussion, as fans are now expecting the show to become even darker and full of unexpected horror twists.
Fans also wanted the upcoming season to be more Wednesday-centric and not revolve around a silly love story. We remember how Twitter demanded to kill the bizarre love triangle.
It seems that no one wants to see Wednesday in a healthy, successful relationship on the show (as much as her fling with Tyler or Xavier could be called healthy or successful). At least not in season 2.
The same goes for the cast of the show. They also feel that Wednesday should focus on some important things other than schoolboys and certain people who turn out to be monsters (no spoilers there, duh).
For example, Emma Myers, who portrayed Wednesday's chatty, rainbow-clawed roommate Enid Sinclair, also believes that Miss Addams should remain single.
In the interview with Variety, she shared her ideas about season 2. She said that after all the fiasco that Wednesday had with her men, she should appreciate her single girl era, and give the romantic relationships a break.
But let's not forget that as much as the fans wanted to see Wednesday single, they also wanted to heat things up between Wednesday and Myers' character.
Well, it turned out that both actresses feel good about the potential romance between the two roommates. Ortega once said that her character will be off the boys for a while.
It certainly gives room for Wenclair – the Enid/Wednesday romance – to happen.
Myers told Elite Daily she feels like showing them together as a strong powerful female couple would be great for the show and a really great thing to see.
Well, maybe we can find a little space for this particular romantic storyline?
