Created by sitcom veterans Michael Schur and Dan Goor, Brooklyn Nine-Nine gained a loyal fan base that stuck with the show until it ended in 2021. Nearly 11 years after its premiere, it's hard to believe that Fox once axed the popular show to the shock of viewers and pretty much all of Hollywood. However, after a campaign by fans and cast members, Brooklyn Nine-Nine was acquired by NBC, which produced its three final seasons.
The cop sitcom follows the officers of the 99th Precinct in Brooklyn. It's a lighthearted show with a strong emphasis on teamwork, and there's literally no one funnier than the show's protagonist, Detective Jake Peralta, played by Andy Samberg. The series also stars Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Andre Braugher, Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller.
Over the course of eight seasons, the cast became incredibly close, as you can see in the hilarious moments above, which are the result of masterful improvisation. All of this speaks not only to the fact that Brooklyn Nine-Nine has one of the most talented casts in the history of the sitcom genre, but also to how comfortable the cast was with each other. This led to some of the show's funniest moments.
All eight seasons of Brooklyn Nine-Nine are available to stream on Netflix and Peacock. It is also available on most major platforms including Amazon, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Google Play and Microsoft.
