Vikings: Valhalla and 3 Must-See Shows With Leo Suter & Where to Stream Them
The Harald actor already has a number of must-watches in his portfolio.
We bet that if you’re a TV show lover, you have recently heard the name of Leo Suter, as his portrayal of the brutal nordic hero Harald Sigurdsson in Netflix ’s hit is outstanding.
For those who still don’t know his name, we have a list of binge-worthy series that perfectly display the actor’s talent, with 4 of them being enlisted here.
1. Vikings: Valhalla ( 2022 - 2024)
Where to watch: Netflix
Of course, first comes the historical drama that made Suter’s name known worldwide. The sequel of Vikings is set 100 years after the events of the original show and takes place in England, where the confrontation between the locals and the Vikings is about to start. As you already know, Suter plays Harald, known as Harald III of Norway in the sagas, a commander who has the ambitions to win that bloody battle.
2. Sandition (2019)
Where to watch: Prime
Next series is also a period drama, but this time it is set during the Regency era, in the 19th century. Following a young woman who tries to prove herself at the new seaside resort of Sanditon, this show is in fact based on an unfinished manuscript by Jane Austen. If you’re a fan of Sense and Sensibility or Pride and Prejudice, you shouldn’t miss a chance to dive into the intrigues of those distant times once again.
3. Beecham House (2019)
Where to watch: Netflix and Apple TV+
It may come as a surprise, but it’s a period show too, and it proves that Suter truly belongs to the genre. The series takes place in Delhi, India, and focuses on the lives of the British family who arrives at their new house to hide from their past. Beecham House’s tone is really reminiscent of Downton Abbey, but it’s still full of Indian charm.
4. Victoria (2017)
Where to watch: Prime and Apple TV+
Last entry in today’s list is, as you may have already guessed, a historical drama that follows Queen Victoria’s early life. If you’re interested in history, it’ll be a great TV show choice for you, as it really sticks to the real-life events and tries to be authentic.
