Yes, we got that Paint it Black theme and gorgeous Jenna Ortega, but will it be enough?

As fans are still hyped about the new trailer for Netflix 's Wednesday, a certain character reveal has sparked concerns among some people that the network is forced to spoil big things in order to keep people interested.

The new trailer, released by Netflix last week, has introduced us to Uncle Fester portrayed by Fred Armisen. He stops Ortega's Wednesday from attacking him with his electric powers, and then appears to invite her on some kind of an adventure, noting that he "likes to travel incognito".

While the majority of fans hail the casting decisions made by the showrunners, others voiced concerns that such big revelations in the trailer might be a sign of desperation.

"Putting that cameo in the trailer shows that Netflix is worried about this. Or worse, they think the show isn't going to do well once people see it," Redditor Cinemaphreak suggested.

By far, mostly every single comment on YouTube and other social media where the trailer was shared is full of joy and anticipation. According to fans, the Tim Burton-led reboot can be a true breath of fresh air for the Addams Family franchise.

One Netflix's Wednesday Scene is Already Insanely Problematic

The only grievance fans seem to currently have is the fact that Wednesday is not going to be released before Halloween, as its spooky atmosphere appears to be just perfect for the holiday. Some people also grew suspicious because of the post-Halloween release date, suggesting that something could have gone wrong with the show if Netflix decided to reschedule an obviously Halloween-appropriate premiere to a later date.

Still, Wednesday Addams is coming to small screens on November 23 — on Wednesday, naturally. So brace yourselves — even though the suspense is killing you, the wait won't be too long.
