The big family drama has been kept a secret for too long now.

It’s been a couple of days since Tracker ’s season 1 finale finally hit the screens, and fans just can’t get enough of a big cliffhanger that now makes it all official about the next season’s focus shift.

As Colter Shaw’s complex personality now comes out of the shadows of his work unveiling some big mysteries in the character’s family, the upcoming second installment will surely have to deal with lots of characters once again, and some of them are already confirmed for a big return.

Tracker’s leading actor Justin Hartley, who also helms the show as one of the executive producers, has recently revealed some major details about the upcoming season.

Talking to Deadline about the season 1 finale, Hartley couldn’t miss an opportunity to cast a glance further at what the future will hold for the series, saying that the crew is definite in the decision to bring back Billie and Lizzy, portrayed by Sofia Pernas and Jennifer Morrison respectively.

The actor also hinted at a possibility of his whole family’s return, making it clear that Tracker’s next season will have to deal with the Shaws’ big family drama like never before.

Fans of the show may find this news especially exciting considering that it somehow confirms Jensen Ackles ’ reappearance as Colter’s estranged brother Russell. Given that the first season’s finale didn’t really make things clear regarding Ashton Shaw’s mysterious death years ago, Russell indeed has no chance to vanish right now in the midst of the whole drama unfolding.

As Hartley put it in the interview, all the dark family secrets coming out will eventually force both brothers to “have a lot of questions to answer with Colter’s mother.”

Tracker’s upcoming season is set to arrive at CBS later this year.
