We've got Tobey Maguire, Tom Holland, and Andrew Garfield playing Spider-Man, and they've all put their own spin on the character. But the real question is, when it comes to raw power, who's the strongest Spidey of them all?
Let's start with Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. One scene that stands out is from Spider-Man 2, where he stops a runaway train from crashing.
The sheer force required to bring the train to a halt was immense, and the physical exertion on Spider-Man must have been monumental.
The train was constantly gaining speed, and Maguire's Spidey had to fight against it while using his webs. The train was literally buckling under the insane pressure.
What about Tom Holland? In Homecoming he managed to lift a heavy pile of stones. While it’s impressive, Tobey’s train scene is still the best depiction of Spider-Man's strength in movies.
However, we should also consider the ages of the characters. In Spider-Man 2, Maguire's Peter Parker was in college, possibly around 21 years old.
On the other hand, Tom Holland's Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming was still in high school, around 15 or 16 years old.
Given that Holland's Spider-Man was younger and still developing physically, it's possible that he could become just as strong, if not stronger, than Maguire's Spider-Man as he grows older.
Remember the final battle of No Way Home? Tobey’s Spidey was actually struggling to hold Goblin’s glider when MCU ’s Parker wanted to kill Goblin with it. But again, the age should be taken into account. At this point Maguire’s Spidey is older and he is definitely not in his prime.
We haven’t mentioned Garfield’s version yet. Well, the reason is simple: based on what we’ve seen in the movies, his Spidey is out of competition.
However, Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man might have an advantage. Garfield’s spidey is arguably the most agile among those three.
In the end, every actor added their own special touch to the character, and everyone has their own favorites.
