'Thor: Love and Thunder' Trailer Breakdown: Six Things We Learned
It's finally here! Hotly anticipated trailer for the upcoming 'Thor: Love and Thunder' just released, but fans are already trying to decipher everything seen in it.
Taika Waititi 's next chapter of Thor's story will surely possess that same mischievous spirit found in director's previous films, but it's important not to forget that MCU 's latest will play a major role in the development of the whole universe. That's why there are no small things – everything is important. Here are all the main details that can be found in the movie trailer:
Thor is a Guardian of the Galaxy now
As we saw in 'Avengers: Endgame', Thor joins the Guardians of the Galaxy. Fans are more than happy to see their favorite space outlaws get to spend some more time with Asgardian royalty. And the looming bromance between Thor and Star Lord is sure to get some fans talking.
Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder reveal
The mythical goats that pull Thor's chariot. Doesn't sound all that exciting, does it? Nevertheless, fans of the original comics are very excited to see them – fan favorites were glimpsed in the trailer (yep, pulling that chariot), but they will undoubtedly be given more time in the movie itself.
Thor's new costume
The trailer also shows Thor's new costume, fit for the true king of Asgard, with a majestic red cloak and bright blue-gold armor. Fans seem to support Thor's new fashionable look.
Thor's new look, completed with the new eye (the one Rocket got Thor in 'Avengers: Infinity War ' was actually brown):
First look at Zeus
We finally got a glimpse of the all-powerful Olympians. Sure, we saw Zeus played by Russell Crowe with his back turned to us, but his regal figure and golden attire are certainly worthy of a god. It would have been interesting to see Hercules, who could be one of the main villains of the film.

King Valkyrie
Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie has become King of Asgard on Earth, and she doesn't seem to like it very much. Valkyrie is bored sitting on her throne, and seems to have already proved herself meme-worthy.
Jane Foster is the Mighty Thor
And the biggest surprise of all was Jane Foster played by Natalie Portman as the new Thor. The powerful image made a big impression on the fans, who were dying to know how she got her powers, allowing her to catch Mjolnir mid-air.
'Thor: Love and Thunder' hits theatres July 7, 2022.
