What comes to mind when you think of Legally Blonde? Well, let's give Reese's Elle a break, because from now on there's a new character that will be right up our alley.

June Temple's portrayal of Keeley Jones in Ted Lasso is flawless.

The writers did their best to make her instantly likable to fans, and Temple herself put a lot of effort into the role. But it seems that there was a lot of inspiration from Elle Woods in creating Keeley's character.

Sure, she may not be carrying around a mini-dog with a funny name (though Keeley could definitely pull that off), but she is as peppy, big-hearted and smart as Reese Witherspoon's Elle in Legally Blonde.

And according to an interview Temple did with Cosmopolitan Magazine, she even admitted that Keeley's "open friendliness, trusting heart, and never-ending ability to support others" seem to come from the main character of the beloved Blind movie.

"A big inspiration for Keeley and her company this year was 'Legally Blonde,' which is totally one of my favorite movies ever," admitted Temple in the interview.

Another thing Keeley took from Elle was her impeccable fashion sense. In season 3, Keeley is a businesswoman, so she should definitely change her outfits into more chic ones – of course, without losing her individuality.

The actress admitted that it was important for her not to lose the core of her character's personality in this new style.

In a meeting on how Keeley should look in season 3, Temple suggested the writers and the designers don't lose her "quirky and pink and fluffy" style, because that's how everybody knows her.

And everyone in the creative team agreed it is the best decision. So the approach to combine the real Keeley with a more sophisticated look like Elle Woods had in both movies is a total win.

As it is, Keeley seems to be going in the same direction, but wearing a buttoned shirt.
