This Sponge Bob Fan Theory Will Ruin Krabby Patties For You Forever

Have you ever wondered why Mr. Krabs never nibbles on his own Krabby Patties, even though they are an absolute hit in the entire city? Well, this fan theory is on track to ruin these burgers for you — and potentially the entire Sponge Bob universe.

According to Redditor enehwnw, the secret formula that makes Krabby Patties so good is very simple, as it is based on... drugs.

"This is why we never see Mr. Krabs take a bite, he's a drug lord that knows his life will go horrible if he eats one. This is also why everything is so happy in the show. We're seeing this through the eyes of Spongebob, who makes it so addictive and doesn't even know he's cooking drugs," the fan theory reads.

This could effectively ruin Sponge Bob's world: the happiness that he believed was spread by his cooking could in fact be induced by drugs, and he never even knew.

Basically, the fan theory makes Mr. Krabs Bikini Bottom's drug lord who only opened his restaurant to disguise his evil empire. If this fan theory is true, there is only one question... how on Earth is Squidward resistant to those? This guy is the only character in Sponge Bob who does not ooze happiness.
