This Fan Theory Explains How 'Multiverse of Madness' Should Have Ended

A lot of Black Bolt fans are still traumatized by how 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' treated him, especially in light of the fact that he alone could have tackled Wanda Maximoff in seconds.

Fans throughout Twitter and Reddit have pointed out multiple times that Black Bolt simply had to start talking to stop Wanda because his voice can cause shockwaves that are capable of leveling cities, let alone one person.

The fan theory has even been turned into a meme on Reddit, with people believing that it was up to Reed Richards – literally the smartest guy in the room – to come up with the idea to use Black Bolt's powers against Wanda before it was too late.

But some fans argued that it was not about Reed's ignorance but rather about the Illuminati generally not believing that Wanda was even capable of such atrocities.

Besides, the Illuminati were apparently trying to be heroes… unlike the Scarlet Witch.

The concept of multiverse introduced into the MCU by 'Multiverse of Madness' basically allows revisiting any character or event, though. So even the Illuminati's gruesome demise that we had to witness might not necessarily mean their end in the MCU.

Despite their brief appearance, fans seemed to have really enjoyed the group. After the Doctor Strange sequel, people are even more excited for Marvel's 'Fantastic Four ', where John Krasinski could once again appear as Reed Richards. Aside from this, Marvel fans seem to be very much on board for some kind of the Inhumans project – particularly something that could include their ill-fated king Black Bolt.
