This Doctor Who Story Deserved A Clear Ending, But We’ll Likely Never Get It

Now that the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who is closer than ever, fans of the sci-fi show are more than ever filled with nostalgia for very different series and eras that they consider their favorites.

That's the beauty of the show: no matter how many years have passed, it continues to unite generations and tie together stories from years past.

However, there is one major storyline for the Doctor himself that many believe will never be tackled on screen again. The story of Jenny, the Doctor's daughter, who made her only appearance in Series 4, when David Tennant's 10th Doctor was still around.

Although the story of another at least part-time Lord opened up a whole universe to explore, and you'd think Jenny's comeback would be inevitable, she never appeared again.

Portrayed by Georgia Moffett, the daughter of the actual 5th Doctor Peter Davison, Jenny would certainly blow up the web. Not only because of how good her performance was, but also because of how good a love story it led to.

Shortly after meeting on the set of The Doctor's Daughter, David Tennant and Georgia Moffett started dating. This romance led to a very happy and long marriage with 5 children, 4 of which were born to the couple.

While it would understandably be too weird for a married couple to play a father-daughter duo, even one as unconventional as Doctor and Jenny, many fans are still eager to see their comeback. Now that Russell T Davies is back as showrunner, some believe there is a place for Jenny in one of the stories with the 15th Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa.
