This Character’s Return in Tracker Season 2 Is Exciting for Both Fans and Crew
Forget all the family drama, Colter’s personal life is getting a much closer look.
Tracker ’s first season officially wrapped it all up several days ago, leaving a lot of issues for the next installment to resolve. The season finale left everyone on the hook with a huge cliffhanger concerning Colter Shaw’s family mystery, but now it seems like all the family drama won’t be the only big plot twist in the upcoming season.
With some other major characters who have been confirmed to return in season 2, someone else is also set to get back to the screen.
Following the season 1 ending that was aired on May 19, Tracker’s star Justin Hartley got candid about what fans may expect to see in the show’s next installment.
Apart from the confirmed comeback of Colter’s entire family, including his estranged and pretty suspicious brother Russell, portrayed by Jensen Ackles, Hartley also dropped another big spoiler by revealing that Billie Matalon “is definitely coming back.”
The actor specified that Billie's storyline will be developed significantly, saying that the crew has “some pretty cool stuff for her to do next year. She’ll be back several times next year.”
The return of Billie, portrayed by Justin Hartley’s real-life wife Sofia Pernas, seems to be a double excitement for everyone involved in the show. Hartley previously stated that he enjoys working with his partner on set, while numerous fans couldn’t turn a blind eye to the chemistry the actors masterfully create between their characters.
In Tracker, Billie makes her first appearance in episode 6, when Colter suddenly finds out that there’s another reward seeker just like him, and it’s none other than Billie.
After the case is resolved, Billie doesn’t appear in Colter’s way anymore, though fans are surely craving for more frequent interaction between these two for the next season. Seems like their prayers have been heard.
Packed with more mystery and drama than ever before, Tracker season 2 will be back to CBS this fall.
