These 4 Menacing Movie Villains Had Hilariously Dumb Deaths
Moments that make you laugh out loud in the midst of the spine-chilling terror.
In most horror movies, villains meet their demise in brutal and imaginative ways. However, sometimes bad guys die in the dumbest, most hilarious ways. Let’s take a moment to remember such absurd deaths.
Pennywise (IT 1990)
In the original miniseries IT, Pennywise is defeated by the kids in a pretty hilarious manner. Claimed to be a powerful entity, the eater of worlds, Pennywise dies by an asthma pump and a slingshot.
The way he does a front flip while dying only adds to the absurdity of the situation.
However, there are fan theories that it was actually an illusion that Pennywise created to make them think they have defeated him.
Nosferatu (Nosferatu the Vampyre)
In Nosferatu the Vampyre, Nosferatu dies because of every vampire’s enemy — the light. He was so busy eating Lucy that he completely lost track of time and ended up biting the dust instead of the poor girl.
Even though in the original 1922 film Nosferatu dies the same way, it still looks a bit ridiculous.
Michael Myers (Halloween Ends)
After Laurie takes down Michael in Halloween Ends, the entire town decides to have a little "farewell" party for him. They all gather together and chuck his lifeless body into a car crusher at the local junkyard.
Remember the scene from Spider-Man 2 when the NY citizens carry unconscious Peter above their heads? Well, Michael Myers' “funeral” has a similar scene. But in this case, it just feels super random and out of place.
Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan)
The eighth part of one of the most everlasting horror franchises features the death of Jason in the ending of the movie.
Jason dies while he's chasing the main characters through the sewer, after being exposed to toxic waste. And there is nothing special about his death, except for the moment when he straight-up vomits right at the camera when he sees that nasty toxic waste coming his way. It's gross and unexpected, to say the least.
