With both "Silo" and "The Handmaid's Tale" currently on hiatus, and no official return dates set, fans of dystopian shows are left to their own devices.
However, there's still a plethora of similar shows out there, and we've decided to compile a list of 10 that will help satisfy your dystopian hunger. At least for a little while.
Given that "Silo " and "The Handmaid's Tale" are both masterpieces of the dystopian genre, taking the best ideas from similar shows and adding a whole bunch of new ones, it's pretty hard to find shows that can compare to them in terms of overall quality.
That said, the shows on this list share at least some of the qualities of those two projects-their settings are carefully crafted, the characters are well developed, and the atmosphere combines the dread of dystopia with small glimmers of hope that keep both the characters and the audience going.
