The White Lotus S3 Brings Together Fallout's Ghoul and Harry Potter's Lucius Malfoy 

Mike White’s The White Lotus took over everyone’s attention immediately after it premiered in 2021, and three fruitful years later, White is getting ready to film Season 3. This time, the showrunner has some exciting new stars to throw into the already hectic mix, including Fallout ’s Walton Goggins and Harry Potter ’s Jason Isaacs.

And the former is really, really excited about the prospect!

Goggins Aspired to Star in The White Lotus

We’re yet to learn how Jason Isaacs reacted to Mike White’s invitation, but Walton Goggins already addressed it in his recent interview with Los Angeles Times. Having recently blown up in popularity thanks to his groundbreaking performance as The Ghoul in Prime Video ’s Fallout, the actor is having a blast after getting the long-deserved recognition, including being invited to one of his favorite shows.

“They said, ‘Before we do anything, we have to tell you something. You just got an offer for The White Lotus, and it’s a very good role.’ I said, ‘Could you say that again?’ They said, ‘Mike wants you.’ I said, ‘Could you excuse me a minute?’ I walked outside and I start bawling. Crying uncontrollably,” Goggins admitted.

Goggins Was Destined for The White Lotus

The Ghoul star was absolutely devastated by the news in the best way possible. He couldn’t believe his luck, especially since he didn’t enjoy such fame before his recent post-apocalyptic outing. Walton Goggins wasn’t expecting Fallout to blow up so much, and he definitely didn’t expect to become so sought-after thanks to it. But to his surprise, he was alone: the actor’s wife saw him in The White Lotus long ago.

“I called my wife, shaking, [and shared the news,] and she said, ‘I fucking knew it!’ When we were watching [The White Lotus] one time, she had said, ‘Why don’t you do The White Lotus? You’d be perfect for it,’” Goggins recalled.

As cruel a mistress as fate can be, it definitely smiles at Walton Goggins now. Soon, the Fallout star will join the cast of his and his wife’s favorite TV show together with celebrated Harry Potter actor Jason Isaacs who played Lucius Malfoy.

It’s objectively too early to start praising The White Lotus Season 3 as it’s set to only premiere in 2025, but after this news, we already have a great feeling about it.
