After a super successful 12-year run and a staggering 279 episodes, picking a favorite The Big Bang Theory episode is not an easy task.

And as with any sitcom, there are probably some episodes you may want to skip when rewatching it, too. However, there is one episode that you're simply not allowed to skip if you want to experience 20 minutes of pure laughter!

Now, some may argue that the ultimate must-watch TBBT episode is "The Staircase Implementation," while others will say it's the final episode. But if we had to pick one we think you can't miss, it would undoubtedly have to be episode 8 of season 3 – "The Adhesive Duck Deficiency."

This episode is frequently rated as one of the best episodes of the whole series, and it's hardly surprising. But in case you don't remember it very well, let's recap some of the best moments.

The Guys Get High

We rarely get to see Leonard, Raj, and Wolowitz outside of their apartment. However, in this episode, the boys decide to brave the great outdoors and go on a camping trip. While exploring the surroundings, Howard encounters a couple of middle-aged ladies who give him a batch of homemade cookies. But little do they know, these are not your regular cookies, and they do, in fact, contain some additional "substance."

It Took a Whole Week To Plan Big Bang Theory's Most Iconic Scene

Unknowingly, the guys eat the cookies and get high as a result. And here we witness a string of hysterical moments – from Leonard feeling the earth moving too fast and Raj slowing it down for him to Raj finding his friends' American accents amusing and wishing he could communicate with rabbits.

"Is That My Arm?"

While the boys are away, Penny and Sheldon are in their apartments. Sheldon is attempting to order food when he hears Penny calling for help. He hurries to help her and sees that she has fallen in her bathtub and injured her shoulder and needs Sheldon to drive her to the ER.

But as she has nothing on but a shower curtain, he also has to help her get dressed while keeping his eyes closed. And as he's trying to get her hurt arm into the sleeve, the funniest moment happens – he accidentally grabs her breast.

She then asks him, "Is that my arm?" And Sheldon replies, "It doesn't feel like it," to which Penny then responds sarcastically that maybe he should let it go.

Howard and His Cousin

While high, Howard tells Raj and Leonard the story of how he lost his virginity to his cousin. He explains that it happened after their eyes met over pickled herring at his aunt's house, adding that seeing pickled herring makes him feel guilty yet turned on to this day. So, in the final scene, the guys poke fun at Howard for this revelation, and Howard calls Raj a douche, to which Raj hilariously replies: "Who cares, you slept with your cousin!" And the episode ends with Raj and Leonard rolling on the ground, howling with laughter, which never fails to make us crease.
