Whether you can relate to the scenes you see because you've seen them all in real life around you, or because you suddenly recognize yourself in one of them, doesn't matter. As long as the show stays relatable, it's easy to understand and entertaining enough to keep watching.

Besides, it sometimes offers something that could be considered sweet, sweet revenge on someone you have nothing to do with in real life. Too bad it ends up being deleted from the show itself.

Ryan Howard Finally Getting Told Off

It's not uncommon to encounter a colleague who gets too excited about a promotion. Just as it's not uncommon to find yourself in a rivalry with someone else. When it comes to something as competitive as sales, all morality seems to go out the window as reps start fighting each other to be named the best.

With the audience's overwhelming love for John Krasinski 's Jim, it was only to be expected that anyone who went against him would be instantly hated. But the personality of B.J. Novak's Ryan didn't help matters. He was too self-centered, ruthless, and willing to run over anyone who got in his way.

All of this, coupled with the fact that he turned out to be a fraud, made him one of the least likable characters on the show. And when viewers found out that there was a scene where he finally got what he deserved, they were not surprised in the least.

The scene where David Wallace brutally yells at Ryan over the phone until he cries at his desk is exactly what many viewers wanted to see. In the end, however, it didn't even make the final cut, and the person who got the most riled up was none other than Michael Scott.

The good news is that The Office's social media reps were kind enough to share this gem of a scene with viewers, who can now add it to their rewatch of the beginning of season 5, as it was meant to go in episode 1, titled Weight Loss.
